Rex Cinema & Bar

The Rex Bar + Cinema is our private members bar located in Rupert Street, Soho. The bar opened in April 2003, and features a state-of-the-art 75-seat cinema, together with a 1930's style lounge bar, which has a license until 3am.

It takes it's name from the historical UK cinema group The Rex, which began in the early 1900's. Beth Earl and Libby Avigdori are responsible for the concept and interior design.

The Rex can be best described as electric, drawing heavily from 1930's style with art nouveau influences. Plush velvet and crystal chandeliers create a decadent atmosphere.
A variety of catering options are available, including; finger buffet and canapé menus. The Rex has a fully licensed bar, also serving an extensive cocktail list.

The REX Cinema + Bar is available for private hire via Planet Hollywood and is the perfect venue for conferences and seminars with a 75-seater, state-of-the-art screening room.
